Mark Johnson - Lead Researcher


Occupation: Account Manager for pharmaceutical industry.

Biography:  Mark has been interested in the paranormal since he was young, but it wasn't until shortly after he moved to New Jersey from Los Angeles in 1999 that he realized the house he was living in was haunted.  He contacted a local ghost research group to investigate his house, and he was impressed enough with the investigation to join them.  He's been researching the paranormal ever since, and has been a member of two other research groups before forming North Jersey Paranormal Research in 2004.

Chris DeVinney - Researcher

 

Occupation: Vice President of Furniture Finishing Company


Biography: 
Chris has been interested in the paranormal ever since he was a little kid. He had an experience when he was young and instead of scaring him it made him more interested in what was the cause of the aparition. Chris joined NJPR because he thinks the best way to understand the supernatural is to meet it face to "face". He also is an avid scary movie junkie and  "jack of all trades" of everything unusual that this world has to offer.

Lauren Feinberg - Researcher

Occupation:
Certified School Psychologist/Independent Business Owner 

Biography: 
A psychologist by trade, Lauren became involved in paranormal research after finding the Northern New Jersey Paranormal Research Website. Lauren decided that her unique blend of spiritual beliefs and scientific training would provide a well balanced perspective in investigating the paranormal, and be useful in helping people better understand and cope with unexplained phenomenon.

Robert Feinberg - HR Coordinator & Researcher

Occupation:
Independent Business Owner/Nurse

Biography: 
Rob became interested in the paranormal as a little kid around the age of 10 years old watching unsolved mysteries and shows of that nature talk about ghost sittings.   When he was 16 Rob joined a volunteer first aid squad and had many experiences that couldn't be explained in any way. This was the fuel that got him to want to join NJPR to help him learn more about his paranormal experiences and what exists out there that most people don't pay attention to.

Greg Gonzalez - Researcher
 

Occupation: IT Consultant

Biography: 
Greg has been interested in the paranormal since a very young age. He has had personal experiences that could not be explained by science, or any science that we currently understand.  Greg joined NJPR to gain a better understanding of the paranormal and to help others.

Chuck Harder - Video Analysis & Researcher

Biography: 
Howard had experiences as a child and later in life that he could never fully explain. He joined NJPR to explore and study the paranormal in the hopes of better understanding it.

Natasha Kovic - Researcher

Occupation:
Forensic Psychologist/Actress

Biography: 
Natasha has been interested in all things paranormal since she was a child, thanks to some unexplained experiences she'd had growing up.  After watching numerous shows on ghost-hunting and spending way too much money on "Weird NJ" magazine, she decided to look for a paranormal research group in her area that she could work with in an effort to learn more about the paranormal first-hand.

Darren Large - Case Manager & Researcher
 

Occupation: Aviation

Biography: 
Darren became interested in paranormal investigation after a visit to the Farnsworth House, in Gettysburg, PA.  His experiences there led him to seek out NJPR in order to better understand the paranormal. His history degree teamed with a background in historical and genealogical research has added a new dimension to the research currently conducted by NJPR.  This outside research helps provide valuable information about the history of each location.


Edwin Martinez - Training Coordinator & Team Leader

Occupation:
Assistant Director of Engineering

Biography: 
Ed became interested in the paranormal due to experiences he and other family members had over the past few years, and joined NJPR to develop a more in-depth knowledge of the paranormal while helping others understand and cope with their own experiences.  He has always been curious whether human consciousness survives the death of the physical body.  Ed's theory on paranormal research is that an investigator must first go through every possibility to explain the phenomenon, and only through a process of elimination can we come to a cause of the likely phenomenon.

Gretchen has been interested in the paranormal for as long as she can remember as she grew up in a home with paranormal activity.

 Amee Persaud - Researcher

Occupation: Executive Assistant

Biography: 
Amee has had many of her own personal experiences with the paranormal over the years, and after moving to New Jersey they began experiencing activity in their home.  Amee asked NJPR to conduct an investigation, and she was so impressed by the team's professionalism and personal manner that they decided to join.

 Rudy Persaud - Researcher

Occupation: District Manager of a retail company

Biography:  Rudy and his wife Amee began experiencing paranormal activity in their home and called in NJPR to investigate.  Since then Rudy decided to take it a step further and joined NJPR to help answer his own questions regarding the paranormal.

Kristina Pilote - Researcher

Biography: Kristina also lives in Warren County and has been interested in the paranormal for as long as she can remember.  She lived in a house that was active, and many of the houses on her street had some sort of activity.  Kristina joined NJPR to find an explanation for this type of paranormal activity and what could be roaming these houses.

Chris Rogers - Researcher

 

Occupation: Loan Officer

Biography:  Chris has been involved in many different occupations including sales, personnel, finance and education; but he has found no other field of work more fascinating than the study of the paranormal.  Although Chris has never had an experience with ghosts before joining the group, he has experienced some unexplainable evidence that there is validity to the study of the paranormal.

Rob Spine - Researcher

Occupation:
Quality Control Technician

Biography:
Rob has lived in NJ (Warren County) his entire life, and used to live about a 1/4 mile from the Hainesburg Mansion.  He became interested in the paranormal when he was a young kid after hearing the stories about the Hainesburg Mansion, and other various stories from the magazine Weird NJ.  After reading what NJPR does, he became even more interested in the paranormal and wanted to join the group.  He wants to learn more about the paranormal and energies surrounding it and hopefully help people deal with any "hauntings" that they may have.
