Summation: This was a follow-up to our previous investigation that was taped for a segment of The Maury Show. Right from beginning of the investigation we began to experience activity. One of the Maury Show production assistants heard footsteps upstairs when no one was up there. While everyone but the homeowner was upstairs taping a segment we were startled to hear a very loud crash emanating from downstairs. Everyone immediately rushed downstairs to see what had fallen only to find a startled client sitting quietly in a chair and saying that she had not heard any crashing sound at all. An unusually high amount of EVP's were captured in a short period of time (see below) making this one of the most active houses that NJPR has investigated.

Shortly after the team heard a loud bang downstairs, two separate recorders captured the investigators talking in the background along with a highly unusual EVP that sounds like a hiss, sigh & growl. The groan in particular is unlike anything we have encountered before and sounds like an animal of some sort. There were no animals in the house. - Chuck H. & Mark J. |

After the bang was heard downstairs Investigator Mark attempted to contact the spirit by asking if anyone was there. This if followed by two distinct tapping sounds that were heard by both Mark and the client that could not be explained. - Mark J. |

A man's voice is captured in the empty master bedroom saying, "Jack". All investigators were accounted for and the room was empty at the time this was recorded. There was also no other sounds in the room for several minutes before and after this voice was captured. The client has confirmed that the voice belongs to her father who passed away a few years ago, and his name was Jack. - Ed M. |
