Investigation Summation:
This was our third investigation of this historic mansion. This time
we were excited to be joined by our sister group
South Jersey Paranormal Research. At the start of the
investigation when we first joined together several members heard what
sounded like footsteps up above us on the second floor, and another
researcher thought she heard voices. We were the only people in the
building at the time. Throughout the investigation both teams
experienced a high amount of activity in the first floor turret area where
several cold spots were felt as well as EVP's. SJPR introduced us to a visualization
technique that they have successfully used during their investigations,
and we felt the presence of a young girl as well as an older male spirit.
In the first floor kitchen area SJPR Lead Researcher Susan Bove had a
strong reaction to an old-time photo, and felt that the spirit of this
young woman was still in the mansion. The third floor also yielded a
high amount of activity in the form of many EVP's and video events (see
below). This investigation yielded an enormous amount of EVP
evidence. SJPR revisited the mansion the very next evening and
captured even more evidence. This location is one of the most active
houses that we've investigated, and we look forward to going back again
soon.

While in the first floor turret area,
Susan Bove
recorded a male voice commanding,
“Don’t flash at her,” as Investigator C. Groff took a
picture in her direction. -- 10:00 PM - Susan Bove (SJPR)
While in the same area,
Chuck Groff noticed a cold spot forming between himself and
Susan. He commented that there was a change in temperature,
and then another male voice shouts out in a long, drawn out
manner
"Temperature.".
-- 10: 21 PM - Susan Bove (SJPR)
Captured on video/audio at the base of the
stairs on the first floor. A couple of researchers are
talking nearby when a car starts to drive past outside.
As the car's engine gets the loudest, a faint voice can be
heard that sounds like a little boy saying,
"Mommy?". We
have also included a
filtered version
here. -- 10:21 PM - Mark J.
This
female voice was captured by Sherri's recorder that was
lying on the counter in the first room of the gift shop. It
sounds as though she’s saying,
“Hear me talk.” -- Sherri Halpin (SJPR)
As
everyone started to get ready for a break, Susan was gathering
her things and thought for a moment that she had lost her
ring. You’ll hear her say aloud to myself, “Where’s my
ring…oh” (she had found it). A male spirit then whispers,
“You brought it to your hands.” The “clopping” sound in
the clip is the footfalls of the other investigators leaving
the area. -- 10:48 PM - Susan Bove (SJPR)
Kelly Groff
recorded the voice of a young male saying,
“Hit me.” -- Kelly Groff (SJPR)
When Kelly
was commenting that the doorway in the large parlor leads to
the roof of the side porch and that it didn’t seem to be safe,
she recorded this male voice saying,
“It’s stable.” -- Kelly Groff (SJPR)
Darren
was recounting his paranormal experiences at the Farnsworth
Hotel in Gettysburg, PA when Kelly recorded this male voice
saying,
“It’s dirty inside.” -- Kelly Groff (SJPR)
While
sitting in the room with the video monitor, Susan recorded
this male voice while she and Mark Johnson were chatting. The
male voice says what sounds like,
“Hey, vomit,” as though he was insulting someone. It was
also during this time that Investigator C. Groff was feeling
uncomfortable, as though his presence was unwanted. Could
this spirit have been targeting Investigator Groff? --
Susan Bove (SJPR)
Captured
in a front room on the third floor, Susan recorded what
sounds like two male voices. The first simply says,
“Yeah.” The second male says, “They’re older too.” --
Susan Bove (SJPR)
As Kelly
was looking at the pictures in the back room where Mark had
set up his DVR, she recorded this female voice saying,
“That’s
Kelly,” then a different female voice says, “Hi Kelly.” She
was alone at that time. - Kelly Groff (SJPR)
This was recorded on the third floor towards
the end of the evening while several of us were attempting
visualization techniques. Sherri Halpin captured a
female voice saying,
"You never kept them", which is followed by an inaudible
male voice in the background. Everyone was sitting
quietly at the time this was recorded. -- Sherri
Halpin (SJPR)
In the 3rd
floor hallway/common room, Kelly recorded a female voice (southern
accent?) loudly saying,
“Hi, Butch.” There is also a male voice following her,
speaking with what sounds like a British accent. We are
undecided as to what he is saying, but the last word is
“pocket.” Note that there were no men named Butch on any of
the teams.

As Kelly
and Investigator Thornton were admiring the wood and
workmanship of the past, she recorded a mocking female voice
“Look at this one staring at the wood!” -- Kelly Groff
